Meet the Founders
Andrew Van Valer
He's been called "Mr. Solutions" and a "Visionary" by many of his friends and peers. A person who believes you can’t teach what you haven't done, Andrew Van Valer combines solid business skills with novel insights that often shake up the conventional way of thinking. He has the ability to take the complex and somehow make it simple to understand.
At a very young age, Andrew started his own business – based on a solid work ethic acquired from his parents – allowing him to purchase his first house at just 20 years old. For 19 years, he was on the startup team of four disruptive technology companies. He held a number of positions in operations, strategic planning and marketing with three very successful companies headed by Philippe Kahn, technology innovator and entrepreneur. He has set up and managed businesses in five countries, and has been learning continuously about trends, real estate, investing, business models and, more importantly, patterns of success.
Andrew has been researching the Internet, and its impact on people, since 1992, when he returned from Europe. Living a “Web” lifestyle, he telecommutes the world, and now conducts business from his home. All his banking and investment activity is performed online, and he orders a host of products over the Web, including family groceries. Time is his most precious resource. He recently traveled around the world with his family, while running his life, travel arrangements and his businesses from his laptop.
He gets enjoyment from coaching others on life skills – money management, debt elimination, the creation of multiple pipelines of income and, most importantly, discovering someone’s passion and purpose in life.
Roland Hall
Roland has been interested in business almost all of his life. Starting his first business at the age of 8, Roland developed, manufactured, and sold a line of candles based on an animal theme.
During middle school, Roland led a special class in the development of an instructional corporation. We created a private corporation, performed market research, developed a business plan, sold shares to investors, manufactured home planters, marketed and sold the products, managed the books, and participated in the profit!
During high school, Roland developed a love of technology, including computer science and electronics. He received an AA in business from Cabrillo College, and a BS in business administration from San Jose State University.
Roland took on large projects early in his career. Starting out in the manufacturing of financial ERP systems for a global semiconductor company, he managed Y2K operations for a second large semiconductor company, and then moved on to a startup. As a member of the management team that created the camera phone and photo albuming/messaging for the wireless carrier industry, Roland was responsible for all phases of production deployment and service delivery. This company was sold to Verisign in 2005, and Roland transitioned to Verisign as Systems Architect.
It was during the last 5 years that Roland was introduced to network marketing and self- development. During this time, Roland has helped many achieve their goals while at the same time achieving his own. It was this model of success – through helping others – that inspired Roland to seek out others with the common goal of educating people in self development, home-based business, and the power of the Internet to fulfill their dreams.
When not enriching the lives of others, Roland enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities. His passions include fishing, horseback riding, surfing, biking, snow sports, and off-road vehicles.
