What Is a Cardio Pulse Wave?
When your heart beats, it radiates a pulse wave down the lining of your arteries. The pulse wave travels to your fingers and toes then back. The frequency and strength of this wave can help health practitioners determine the overall health of your cardiovascular system.
Advantages: The device is said to be 99.17% as accurate as a coronary catherization which makes taking responsibility for prevention affordable.
When doing a coronary catherization they measure your Central Aortic Systolic Pressure (CASP). This is the blood pressure at the root of the aorta (the largest artery in the body), as the blood is being pumped out of the heart. CASP has been shown to be an important factor in the relation to strokes and cardiovascular events, more so than the brachial pressure or the pressure commonly taken at the arm (cuff). A coronary catherization CASP is done by placing a catheter into the brachial or femoral artery and threading it into the Aorta right next to the heart and measuring the CASP directly. The cost of this invasive test can cost anywhere from $10,000 - $25,000 and is typically done in a hospital.
A CASP using the BPro is non noninvasive, attaches to your wrist, and takes just a few minutes to perform. It is 99.17 % as accurate as the invasive test. The cost for the device is affordable which allows health care practitioners to charge much less for an artery screening compared to a coronary catherization at a hospital.

We have researched health care practitioners using the device any they charge anywhere from $100 - $500 for a scan. With the cost of the device being so low, ROI is very fast.
