Blastoff has a relationship with PrePaid Legal. PrePaid has the rights to distribute the Social Networking tool and was given a special “Legal Help” icon to market PrePaid Legal services for their associates.
The service is first being launched through the network of associates and after testing will be open to most of the public.
One of the benefits of PBlastoff is that it pays you when you shop online and when others shop online. You receive cash when you and others shop through your own Blastoff Network from over 400 retailers such as Target, Macy’s, Best Buy, Starbucks, and Travelocity. When you join the Blastoff Network, you receive preferential treatment from the biggest names in retail like iTunes, Dell, Sears, Gap. When you link to these websites and make purchases, you receive anywhere from 1%-15% cash back in your Blastoff Network Account. And when you're ready for your next cell phone, you can save up to $300 from the biggest names in wireless. At the end of the month they send you a check based on your sales. The current compensation plan goes 10 deep then stops.
Advantages: It’s FREE! There are some other companies that have tried using Facebook or other strategies to help create a revenue stream and to distribute products. Currently there are a few companies that you can register with that have similar discounts and rebates but you have to pay anywhere from $100 - $400 to get into them. This is FREE. In early views of the site, they have trying to really create a functional front page for the average individual. It is only a start and this has potential to grow legs and might actually go somewhere.
What we like most about this opportunity, is it could be used as a fantastic tool for schools, churches, non-profits and other large communities to build recurring revenue for their cause!

Disadvantages: The BlastOff is just starting so they don't have the long history yet. They have a product that is just being launched and may go through some changes based on input from the users, they might have bugs in the system to work out, and the volume might be difficult for them to manage.
It also depends on what people think about the site and the services. To make it effective, it needs to be their front page otherwise they forget about it.I would be concerned if I was paying $300 for the system and the ability to make money, but it is currently free. That might change as well in the future.
It isn’t clear in their documentation how much you will share in the revenue for the people in your network within 10 degrees of separation.
