Comments: Shure Pets is one of the few direct-sales companies that focus on pet products. For entrepreneurs who love pets, the Shure Pet opportunity may be just the business opportunity you are looking for. This is a unique opportunity that was created by Andrew Shure at a time when pet parties did not exist. When you join their team, you have access to over three hundred different products. This includes anything from premium and luxurious pet shampoo to vitamins and even pet themed gifts for people who love their furry friends.

Shure Pets is in an expanding industry. The Pet industry is now the 7th largest retail segment in the U.S.; 88 million Cats and approximately 74 million Dogs. In the past 10 years, pet spending has more than doubled and is expected to hit over 50 billion by the end of the decade. This is not a bad industry to be in…especially if you like going to dog parks or cat birthday parties!

The way it works is a consultant who signs up to help sell the products will make a base commission of 25% on each product that they sell. So, if you're a consultant and you sell a product that costs $100.00, you make $25.00.

The fun in selling Shure Pet products is this – you get to have a party and you are following your passion! The way they have setup their business is simple - you host a party at a home of someone who has the same passion and enthusiasm as you for their pet.  They will receive points toward free products from the company for their support.

Advantages: Because people are so passionate about their pets, they have become just like family members. Not to mention that this industry isgrowing rapidly. Somebody forgot to tell our pets that we're in a recession. Pet loving consumers, young and old, spent more than $40 billion on food, supplies, medicine and veterinary care, continuing an upward trend that places the pet industry as the seventh-largest industry in the United States, ahead of such industries as toys, candy, jewelry and hardware.

If you have a passion for animals and pets, this opportunity can be a way to have a successful. You don't have to work with animals to be a Shure Pets consultant; all it takes is a love for animals, a great attitude, and the will and knowledge to run a successful business.

Inexpensive start-up kit; only about $100 as of this writing to get going.  The starter kit contains:

Can sell on eBay, to vets, clinics, groomers, and hold online parties - little restriction on where and to whom to sell the products

Disadvantages: To successfully demonstrate the products at the parties there is a bit of investment to purchase the products. Depending on which products it can be just a hundred dollars to several hundred.

Shure Pets is still relatively new to the Direct Sales business and may have some growth issues as it distributes more and more products through this channel.
