A high level of integrity allows others to build confidence in you and evetually enables you to build a stronger business. This is one of the most saught after values when comparing competitors. Due to the current economicsituation, it seems that ethics, integrity and honesty are a little shaky. Earl Nightingale once wrote, “If honesty did not exist, it would have to be invented, as it is the surest way of getting rich.” A study at Harvard University concluded that the most valuable asset that a company has is how it is known to its customers, its reputation.
So it is impotant to keep your high values and integrety, making sure your core values are not just empty words, but the foundation of how your business operates.
At the same time, your greatest personal asset should aslo be your values. It is a persons personal reputation, keeping their word and fulfilling their commitments that is of value by others. Your integrity precedes you and affects all of your interactions with other people.
As you grow your business, closely adhering to your innermost beliefs and convictions, your core values are your greatest asset.
