The people I talk to these days are more interested in getting more time with their family and friends rather than making tons of money. They see money as means to the end. I know very wealthy people who do not have financial freedom, because true financial freedom means that you don’t HAVE to work for money but have a business system or money that is working for you. A few examples I can think of would be physicians, attorneys, and corporate executives. These are all people who work long, hard hours for the money they receive. Some are making very nice six-figure incomes, but if they stop working, they stop earning. How about working hard but also starting a business on the side? If you can start a profitable business on the side, you have the ability to create income that can be used to create more income. Like what you ask?
How do you find what is right for you? Find and start learning about something you have a passion for. We enjoy real estate and helping people find a business they can run out of their home. We spent a great deal of time learning about stock to find out we can understand it but didn’t like getting up early nor watching the market daily….but that’s us….what is yours? |
